National Philanthropy Day - Nov. 13, 2008

National Philanthropy Day 2008 will be held November 13th.  We invite you and your organization to individuals, corporations, or foundations using the nomination forms located at this site in one or more of the following seven categories:

 

 §           Outstanding Philanthropist

 §           Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist

 §           Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser

 §           Outstanding Foundation

 §           Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, Ages 5-17

 §           Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy, Ages 18-23

 §           Outstanding Media Outlet or Best Nonprofit Media Coverage

 

Nominations for the above awards may be submitted by any organization and must be received by August 22, 2008.

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of state and local leaders engaged in philanthropic efforts.  If, in the judgment of the committee, no applications in a particular category meet the criteria, no award will be given in that category.  Honorees selected will receive their awards at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes College.
